Who we are

East Lumenz is an independent app studio focused on creating thoughtful, approachable software for everyday life.

We believe good apps don’t need to be complicated. They should be easy to understand, enjoyable to use, and built around a clear purpose.

Our apps explore that idea in different ways. Wild Steps turns everyday movement into wildlife discovery, encouraging users to walk, explore, and learn. BabyPlay creates simple, secure activities designed for young children, with parent-friendly controls and multilingual support. WordGolf turns prompting AI into a daily word challenge, where players compete to make the model say a target in as few characters as possible and compare their scores on shared leaderboards.

While the experiences are different, the philosophy behind them is the same: start with a simple idea, make it useful or enjoyable, and polish the little details that make it feel good to use.

East Lumenz is still growing, and so is our collection of apps. We’re continuing to experiment with new ideas, explore new ways to use technology, and build software that makes everyday moments a little more interesting.
